MOH Guidelines for COVID-19 PCR swabs have changed.

Under the new guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health as part of Phase III, funded PCR swabs will be offered under certain circumstances:

• If there is a clinical suspicion despite 2x negative RATs. This includes ongoing or worsening COVID-19 symptoms, or being symptomatic and a household contact of a positive case.

• Where the results will benefit you and help in the management of your condition.

Swabs are done by trained health professionals in a gentle and professional manner. We offer nasopharyngeal (nose) swabs; a combination of oral and anterior nasal (front of nose) swabs for children; and Rapid Antigen tests (RATs).

‍What is the process?.

• Please book your swab appointment below, or by phone.
• Check your email to ensure your booking has been successfully confirmed in our system.

When attending your swab appointment;

1. PLEASE WEAR A MASK.
2. PLEASE OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING.
3. On arrival, please sanitize your hands and report to reception. We have a separate waiting area/room for PCR and RAT testing which is done by a doctor.
4. If required, the doctor will perform an examination and offer medical advice on management of your symptoms.
5. For PCR tests, you will receive your result by text and/or email. If you have not heard back within 48 -72 hours, please contact our clinic.
6. For RAT tests, your result will be available within 15 min after the test.
