Dr. Dion Martley
MB ChB (University of Cape Town, 1984); FRNZCGP 1998; vocationally registered in General Practice since 1999
I enjoy keeping up to date with medical advances and helping my patients.
Dr. Dion Martley qualified in medicine at the University of Cape Town in 1984, and has since practised in South Africa, New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom.
He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 1998, and gained vocational registration in General Practice in 1999.
Dr. Martley's special interests include preventive health, the genetic aspects of disease, and mental health. He also has a long-standing interest in using the internet and online tools to improve patient care.
His breadth of international experience across four health systems, combined with more than three decades in the same Auckland community, gives him a particularly broad perspective on long-term, continuing family care.
